Anything that increases safety and prevents possible injury is a good thing in my book. People make mistakes. If you ignore that fact then your product won't be as safe as it could be. It's not exactly a big deal to program that safety feature in to the flight controller.

I agree. I don't understand the logic of limiting only non GPS mode. Given this is a consumer product I think it would be a great idea to limit it's height AND range. If they could make it not fly over crowds of people as well that would be good too. :-)

I believe they have added a 400ft ceiling as well.

Looking great! I secured my GPS puck with Scotch Dual Lock. If you haven't tried it before it's great stuff. Unlike velcro it clicks in place and is 15 times stronger. Perfect for things like this puck.

I can't agree with this. An amateur _might_ get good results or they might do something stupid and cause a lot of issues. A professional is trained, has the experience to get the result you want and puts their money where their mouth is by making sure they have insurance, pay their employees...
