Can you tell me whats
about the coax mounts to the normal mounts?
I thought they were just the same but with the added motor mount plate on the bottom instead of the carbon fiber one?
I recently bought a 550e fbl, just need to finish the setup and go fly. But I cant wait to feel the difference between it and my trex 250 i learnt to fly on.
Im sure people would appreciate it, because not every one wants to use Photo higher Gimbals. Im moving house this week so, I dont know when Il get a chance to do some more work on it. Lots to sort out. But the build quality is truly more than I expected, everything has really been thought about.
Just found this: http://shop.rc-electronic.com/e-vendo.php?shop=k_emcotec_e&SessionId=&a=article&ProdNr=A72035&t=2263&c=2263&p=2263
A remote control for the emcotec switch, possibly what im after?
I plan on using a emcotec switch. But it was more just if there was a product out there that I can flick a switch to kill power so i dont fry things if I crash into water.
I tryed to get mine sitting between the booms and motor boots, but its kinds impossible. there too large for the gap. And in the instructions the photo shows them outside the boot. I really cant see the point of them unless they were between the boot and boom; but they dont fit.
Maybe its best...
Today I braided the motor wires and installed the motors on the booms. Ive also got some Ultracote fluro orange covering film to put over the two booms with orange boots,
Next up I started working on the Cinestar 3- Axis gimbal. I added some airplane wheels on the bottom of the landing gear...
Ive Made some progress. First I cut a square hole out of the SkyJib Gimbal mounting plate, which was pre drilled for PhotoHigher Gimbals. Then I cut a piece of carbon fiber plate to sit inside the gimbal mount, then marked and drilled the corresponding holes for the Cinestar 3 axis gimbal. I...
Ok, Il put it on the cage and maybe do some tests on one of the booms also. Just to see if theres any difference.
I will be taking a fair amount of photos as I go. I didn't get a chance to work on the mount today so tomorrow il get some photos up after I make some progress on it.
They do, im unsure it its compatible with the new Skyjib, i believe they changed the diameter of the rods. I could be wrong though.
But anyway for 325.00 Euros its crazy expensive for something I can fix for say $20
