Its a turnigy 5V 3A BEC, probably need one with higher current rating in order to use it alone. I think I'll connect BEC direct to the servo red/black wires. Thanks for the advice Seb Steve

Well got the X650 up with the mount and gopro at last. I think the tilt stab is great, roll stab needs some work. servo perhaps lacks response speed or resolution ?? To be fair it was just a test and I was throwing it around a little, but at the mo I think I get smoother (by my standards)...

Anyone else using the XA mount? what kind of results are you getting? I've been through a range of angle gain settings and cant get rid of the roll stab/servo induced jitters. Any advice would be well received.

Personally, right now, I would go for the DJI flame wheel (450) and a DJI Naza FC. I have a gaui 330xs I like it but for the same price I would rather have a flame wheel + Naza FC and also the Naza FC has Alt hold. It is not much more expensive than a Gaui GU 344 basic 3 gyro FC. The turnigy...

Got back home today after a couple of weeks away working. Loaded firmware v1.23 into my AHRS which was previously giving drifting pitch and roll values, Seems to have sorted it out, successful test flight today. Just the BEC to arrive now for the gimbal and should be good to go.
