We use these type of cases as standard along with pelicases in my line of work, they take some abuse and hold out somehow. certainly more than a match for international travel and developing world baggage handlers!

Would anyone disagree that the Gopro2 has eliminated the need for a low end P&S cameras for AP/AV? I cant find anything more suitable till getting up to the NEX5 etc level.

Thanks Dune, I think I,ll swerve the Ixus then. I've been looking at the pentax Optio VS20, 20x zoom and CCD sensor. Must check it's got deselectabe IS, it interfaces directly with gentLED also

Monster, its not the frame, the frame does not move, its props or motors or both, yes the vibration may well be transmitted through the frame and I dont know if the material has any absorbing qualities. Follow Kloners advice on a recent thread...

The XAircraft Hex frame looks very nice, similar to the DJI F550, nice landing skid mounting and load mounting rail system same as the X650.
