    8FG & Naza set-up

Guys, I've gone through the settings and everything does work with regards to switching to fail safe etc. I wouldn't have flown otherwise! I tried the fail safe when it flew off but it didn't respond that is what I meant by it didn't work. And when I started to ascend and go looking for it...

    GoPro 3

There's every chance that you would not be able to connect to the wifi as the 2.4ghz vtx could obscure it likewise the wifi may interfere with vtx downlink. Changing the channel of the vtx may be a solution if necessary/possible also you could change the 'channel' the wifi is transmitting on...

    8FG & Naza set-up

Kloner, the legs arrived today, so I fitted them and the go pro. There is just enough room for the go pro underneath the bottom plate. If I had known about the new hero3 I would have waited for that. I will try and get out flying today and see how it goes. Also legs are inscribed and fold back...

    8FG & Naza set-up

Hey guys, no I've not done a power down range test yet, it's been raining here so I've been waiting for things to dry out a bit, or until I've received my sexi F450 heels from TeamFTP(lol). I will drag the mrs out and fit the go pro as soon as I can and see how far I get. Sent from my iPhone...

    8FG & Naza set-up

Well, I have finally received and assembled my F450 with Naza+GPS and 8FG transmitter. I gave it a quick test flight today and so far everything has worked fine. I used this video to help with setup. It was very useful. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zMbpUpcvNiA

    8FG & Naza set-up

I will be watching this very closely, I'm literally away to buy an 8fg today for my f450 and Naza+GPS that's currently on its way from Quadcopters. Having never done anything like this at all I will learning as much as I can on setting up the tx from this post. During my setup if I come across...

    I've finally bitten the bullet!

Mine has just been dispatched today, hopefully it will arrive tomorrow or Friday. I'm going to head to a local store to pick up some lights and a lipo buzzer... I forgot to add them to my order.

    I've finally bitten the bullet!

Yeah, those I did order extra of, DJI ones in the first instance, but I will get Graupners once I've got more experience.

    I've finally bitten the bullet!

Tomstoy2 I'm gonna do a little research into connectors and see which I find most appropriate for me. There's tonnes out there I am sure I will find one that suits. I will post what I end up with and give me thoughts.

    I've finally bitten the bullet!

Steve, I think I will end up going for lights, the ball on a stick option just doesn't sit right with me. By the way, I'm loving the MQX, it's given me a fair idea what I'm letting myself in for, I definitely need to practice practice practice!

    I've finally bitten the bullet!

I'm going for a Futaba 8FG with R6208SB receiver, im away to the store tomorrow to get it. Parts wise, I'm very much expecting the need for plenty of parts, but until I know what I will be breaking most often, I won't waste money on masses of parts that I possibly don't need.

If you can fly one multi rotor can you fly them all ?

Very true. 3DJim like I said at the time, it was hearsay, however it was from the mouth of a commercial pilot. I did state at the time of posting its uncorroborated and that I hadn't heard it mentioned anywhere else.

    I've finally bitten the bullet!

I'd thought to get lights later, but if its an issue I can easy get some next week. I like the idea of having them switched. I've still got to figure out getting a camera onboard for getting some video footage.

If you can fly one multi rotor can you fly them all ?

I heard today that the CAA is in serious financial difficulty and is bordering on bankruptcy, that being the case maybe the have bigger problems to look into other than 'BNUC-s licensing'. As with all hearsay I've not seen or heard anything to collaborate this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
