Where do you draw the power from for your onboard FPV Tx?

Having a clear signal without worrying is my goal. I don't have a distance goal per-say but that's why I was looking at the TBS frame as I found out quickly the room is needed to get all the electronics away from eachother. I hear a grip about shielding wires, I'm all for re-wiring my goods but...

Where do you draw the power from for your onboard FPV Tx?

I personally (after reading so many posts I want to punch my own eye) believe this came up once items were produced such as the TBS core and other similar items that are literally coming on crafts from the shops now. This is a personal preference item where if you are not flying a mile is to me...

Yup, you got it irv- ! Remember RTH is my "Last Resort" and I only tested it the first time to make sure by flipping the switch and by turning off my DX8 (that one was nerve racking) that it worked. Enjoy!

RTH mode if that's what your talking about vs. immediate land upon the flip of a switch and fail-safe?

LMAO, my grandpa took a few shots too! I'm glad somebody else saw that and shared similar thoughts on it.

Where do you draw the power from for your onboard FPV Tx?

All valuable info for sure, this is the stuff I'm happy to see for sure. I guess the item that rubbed me the wrong way in the TBS section was when I asked about how important the core is to the frame and set-up but instantly was asked about $$$$ and if the cash isn't there I shouldn't be flying...

Where do you draw the power from for your onboard FPV Tx?

I do have the immersion 600mW so I could solder the power GND/BATT direct to the bottom board...

Where do you draw the power from for your onboard FPV Tx?

One thing I have learned is there are many ways to do these things but I am interested in why a seperate lipo is dirty or is the lipo power dirty period and the filter could be used in either application? Using OSD to tell the battery life is great but if it fails it fails :-/ I'm learning a...

    NAZA + Ar7000 failsafe/RTH question

Perfect process, I'll add per the Naza box your want to bind with at least 10% minimum throttle (I did 15%) to be safe over the minimum. This keeps the motors from stopping.

Where do you draw the power from for your onboard FPV Tx?

Right on, keep in mind the little 460mAh lipo weighs in at only 43g, the CC pro BEC weighs in at 29g. Saves about .5oz if that weight savings is worth it, the little lipos are $10bucks from ReadymadeRC

    NAZA + Ar7000 failsafe/RTH question

Does the Rx manual state it can do "Pre-set" fail safe as well as "Last command" fail safe? Pre-set fail safe is what allows you to bind with all your switches in the RTH sequence so if the transmitter loses signal or powers off it goes into the pre-determined fail safe.

    The Ten Commandments of FPV

Oh the first thing I did was go through the GoPro settings & selected it to Never auto turn anything off for that very reason.

    First FPV test flight

Spot meter is primarily for shooting from inside of a car or other dark space looking out into a brighter outside setting. Spot meter adjusts the exposure for the absolute center of the scene, for example the road ahead instead of the interior of the car. I made sure it was off, when I flew...

    The Ten Commandments of FPV

For sure! I was going to land with the goggles off but once I pulled them off it was like waking up from a sleep to a headlight in your face as my eyes tried to adjust so I said screw it and landed with goggles on the first time. That was a shocker too

    First FPV test flight

Locked up!? Crazy i'd sent it back, I would get a small FPV cam but that won't be an option until I recover from the full FPV purchase and get the TBS frame as on this little F450 frame I won't even install my EZosd for lack of room and I have enough stuff all over where I was nervous about...
