My vote is if you're sticking with Spektrum and want a best scenario get at least the DSMx AR7010 or switch to Futaba and go UHF if you plan on going 1-mile and there after. I will probably have to change to Futaba pretty quick after this weekend more than likely as I'm going for a 1/2 mile...

That's the truth! yea I loved my Heli's but felt it was the same thing and starting to push my skills ended up with some close calls thinking I possessed Bert K's skills when I was far off. lol So I ditched my Heli's for the MR's and FPV. Couldn't be happier but here is a quick pic my wife...

My wife is tired of hearing about my pending TBS and all the videos I try and show her. But she loves watching me fly them & damn I'm lucky that she even poses with all my **** ;-)

Looks like you have been flying FPV for a year MWR! I just got my 3rd FPV flight in so I'm starting to feel more comfortable already so once I get my frame I can start going faster with confidence

Thanks! The T-motors are smooth and power to go! I can't even begin to play with manual mode because I'm afraid the little frame would topple over itself in fast forward flight. TBS frame soon enough though... :tennis:

You guys kill me every time I watch your vids! Amazing stuff, Discovery frame first then get comfortable and try Manual for that fast flying

PowerLab or icharger would be my pick on that one. Lipos will be a free for all toss up on brands...etc

If I remember correctly smart safe is a automatic built-in feature and it just goes along with the preset failsafe or last position

You need to follow that same stick process to stop the motors from spinning of your in manual mode...

Ahhh crisp my receiver wires are like that but my ESC & AV Tx wires are the flat "together" wires :-/

That would be awesome, is it worth twisting the wires like these from my AV tx to my GoPro? And really with these wires it wouldn't be a twist but a coil...
