With the help of Bluerex I figured this out. It turns out the micro to mini output cable I was using does not work on the GH4. We did determine that the GH4 live view only outputs 1080p. That's fine as the HDMI to composite converter I have supports that. Although I have two versions. This one...

Is anyone using Avid's Media Pro? It was recommended to me by a friend who wrote some of the firmware for the consoles used by professional's in video editing. Apparently it's quite a step up from Final Cut Pro.

OK, I give up. How do you get the live view to go out the HDMI port on the GH4? I've hooked up a HDMI --> Composite converter and sent that to my TX. I can use the 'Playback' on the camera and the image is relayed fine to my external monitor. But I've tried everything I can to get the live view...

The build of the 7000 just doesn't look as nice as the 6000. Also, I don't have retracts and I've never used 3-axis as I just use yaw instead. Less complexity and less weight with 2-axis. I did write to them to see if they could modify the 6000 so it's not quite as wide. But things are looking...

Does anyone have any info/experience with the CAME 6000 gimbal? It looks like a very clean build and I'm not overly impressed with my Aura gimbal right now. It does look a bit wide to mount on a Skyjib but I think it wouldn't be hard to modify. I'd be using it with a Panasonic GH4. Thanks
