I use Gens Ace 5500mAh 3S with my X650 V4, reckon I'm getting approx 10-12 min + with gimbal mounted Gopro, could be more, never actually timed it, just aware of getting a lot of flight time.

How long is it blank for? mine goes blank for a brief moment after every shot which is why I generally use the 5sec period, mine goes blank for approx 1 sec. I use a 16Gb sandisk SD Card but its only a class 4. Is it still taking shots when the screen goes blank?

One suggestion: X650, Naza FC, gopro mounting shoe, you would need an attachment for the range of angles you want with the gopro. the X650 is 55cm motor to motor and should fit in your bag with the booms folded, landing gear and load hangers are push fit.

Rick, MR's just do this to varying degrees because your descending into disturbed air, its basically moving into it own prop wash. I try to treat the MR like a gliding plane when descending if I want to keep it from flapping about.

You would want to set a failsafe setting on your Tx. I have mine set to a medium rate descent. just make sure you always have your Tx switched on before you connect the battery or you could get a fright!..been there done that!! When I switch mode with the Tx it flies like in manual when in hover...

Al, are you connecting up on the level each time. if the frame is all as it should be, it shouldn't need trimming at all. you've probably been through all this, but start with high gain, about 75% and lift it off, it will oscillate then reduce it just to the point where it doesn't oscillate...
