Hi guys, Im wanting to hear some opinions on using the Graupner Single Line output connection for my Skyjib build. I know people use it in the SRH world and Mikrokopter uses it. Can any one see any issues if i used it for YS-X6? How many of you are using it?

With the ribbon cable, which of the connections do i need? There are 4 different wiring options on andreas website, Im unsure which one is best? I know that m1,2,5,6 plug into one of the micromatch connections and m3,4,7,8 to the other. But on his website it talks about there being 8...

BorisS could I place the Air Module after the power switch? To save it in the event of crashing into water?

It was just under 1100 euros all up for both boards. For this set up the advantage is having a quality esc that works with ys-x6. CC esc`s don't work with ys-x6. Hurkules saves weight, is compact, has high refresh rate, made from high quality components. And some other safety bits.

The boards cost just under $1100 euros inc shipping. Which is about the cost of 17 CC ice 50s. Im queit excited to work out how to put everything together and get it in the air.

Heres yesterdays /this mornings progress. Not very much, trying to get my head around how to set up ys-x6 and herkules. Ive assembled the frame, the cage has been left off so i cant work on the electronics. I had been planning on running it as a + configuration rather than an x, as seen here...

Is that the very top part for the imu? Why do you want it more ridged? i thought the supplied rubber vibration isolation mounts seemed like a good idea?

im try i promise. I just need to work out how to use a servo tester to work out the end points of the ys-x6. so andreas can write some custom firmware for me.

The Hurkules boards are here! Today i drilled some holes in the skyjib top plate to mount the boards. I need to go and buy some longer stand offs to mount them. So il get some pictures up tomorrow. I can finally start putting this together. :)

It would be extremely expensive new year for you if you bought the photohigher gimbal. From talking to Kim its not in the hobby price range.
