When setting manual exposures do you aim it on the ground in the general direction of the shot?

The image stab is amazing in that the OMD, but the codec really lets it down. I have worked with video files from it and there good most of the time but have issues with pixelation when there is too much information in the shot.

Yea i did glance over that, is that based on just hovering or flying as well?
