XAircraft Super X GPS quit working.

    1. I have wondered about the wire, but not sure how to find a break in a molded cable. Hasn't been crashed so no pulling out in harsh manner. Externally on both ends of cable, it looks fine. Has been pulled out a couple times as I've put in on and off 2-3 times on different MR's this...

XAircraft Super X GPS quit working.

I got all excited and made a new puck stand, as I had changed it. didn't seem to help. Still getting single green flash (same as ATT mode). Took it off and held it up. Still nothing. I'm going to try to recalibrate everything and see if that helps, which I doubt, but will try it and put my...

XAircraft Super X GPS quit working.

I am launching from the same place I always do. I also went to a 2nd spot. Have checked the connections and changed to a new one. Just weird it just quit working. I'll try again tomorrow. Have the MiniX on a large quad. Will take that out and see if it get's a lock. I flew both FC's once...

XAircraft Super X GPS quit working.

I went through the App and there is nothing there about turning it on or off. Nothing in software. Software is very slim, not alot too it. It was suggested that maybe I can rebuild the software on the FC. Might look into that. The simplest thing would be to try another puck. Nobody around...

XAircraft Super X GPS quit working.

I was doing some tests yesterday and again today. No crashes, hard landings etc. Between flights I was making some gimbal changes and downloading logs to look at vibration. Last 2 flights yesterday, couldn't get GPS lock and looking at log, it showed no satellites found. Continued through...

    Phobotic CenterPiece Owners Thread.

Not that heavy. I've flown an old manual Nikon 24mm (don't remember if it had ND or not, but on my oz scale, it show between 12-13 oz which is 340 to 368g. (This is lens and Micro 4/3 adapter.) I have a zoom lens that is around 500g I could try and maybe throw a Variable ND which would get...

    Phobotic CenterPiece Owners Thread.

So strange. Mine works on both my X8 & new hex. Had CP on 2 gimbals. 1 kit and 1 Diy. Flying video is always steady. If he ever tightens up the horizon line when flying sideways or yawing, mine would be outstanding... it is good now but could be better. One thing I think helps is to hold down...

XAircraft XAircraft Mini X - MRF’s Got One!

Any chance that's just marketing to sell lots of inexpensive ones but still keep the SuperX for the peeps that want to spend more money? I'd love to hear others compare it to their SuperX on at least mid size MR's.

XAircraft XAircraft Mini X - MRF’s Got One!

I get the price point part. But I put it on my new hex while I was chasing a problem and it got some air time on a 18lb hex. I would have to fly it some more now that I have my issue figured out, but on 1st blush, I'd say it didn't handle much different than my SuperX. GPS lock was...

XAircraft XAircraft Mini X - MRF’s Got One!

Come on SleepyC, put it on one of your big rigs or at least something bigger. Inquiring minds want to know! I have not heard or ready anything that leads me to believe this is just for small and mini MR's, Did I miss something"

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

I saw that but I don't remember what he did. I also think his arms were flat, not pitched up 6.8 or so degrees. Just went to you tube and only found his hexcrafter with iphone or droid phone, which is how I did mine originally. Baffling. I'm wondering if it's me or the props. When I put the...

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

First two times I check level was on the motors. Checked level on motors for 3rd time. Put the MR on the floor, put props 90 degrees to it's arm and them measure from the floor to the tips. 1 motor off a bit (which was the hottest of the motors and 2 nd off alittle). Flew better today...

XAircraft XAircraft Mini X - MRF’s Got One!

Many times.... On both SuperX and MiniX. Extreme cold here but warming to over 20 F tomorrow with very light wind. Just finished putting Naza V2 on will give that a try. Will have to go by motor temperature and how it flies.... as no black box data.

XAircraft XAircraft Mini X - MRF’s Got One!

I maidened a Tarot x6 (flat hex) with 3520 kde's this past weekend. Had SuperX on it and was having huge disparity in motor output. 1,3,5 very high and 2,4,6 where I expected them. Long story short, in the middle of testing, MiniX showed up. Put it on quad with same kde motors and esc's...

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

Here is my last flight today. 322 to 389 seconds was in GPS. I lined up the motor output so graphs correspond. Spending too much time on this. SuperX & MiniX are about the same on this Hex except for MiniX show more vibrations... Going to take my Naza V2 off and give it a go on this...

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

I just checked again. Perpendicular to the arm, I'm at .2 to .5 on the level . On the angle with the arm, (tarot pitches em up a bit, they are all right around 6.8 to 7.2) Cold here today, but low winds so this afternoon I'm going to try some more tests. Work on the gains... If not, then...

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

I took props off and just ran the motors with MR sitting on ground. It appears it's something related to ATT mode. In manual , they all stay relatively the same. Not sure what to think or do at this point.

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

6 motors. It's every other arm that is high and the inbetween that is low. Makes no sense. I measured on the table and will check again. Don't have a clue how I'd check in the air.

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

The motors are level to within 1 degree. But since the arms tilt up a bit, level is perpendicular to the arm. It's strange that the the odd motors are all using about the same power and evens are all similar, but use so much less power. I can't logically figure this out. I put the 16 in...
