    Mikrokopter Cinestar 8 to X8

Hey guys, I've built mt CineStar 6 and now building up CineStar 8 frame with CS 360 mount. The biggest problem with big Okto birds is, it's hard to do fast forward flight since the booms get into the video frame when a wide angle lens is used. So, I'll convert it to a coaxial octo. I have...

New Equipment is Here (Cinestar 8 + HFP + 3xproV2)

5s is not supported by Tiger MT2814 AFAIK. I have bo experience on HFP boards so I can't say anything about them but it looks a good setup. I would go for wood props.

Boca bearings upgrades for Tiger(Avroto) motors.

I've started having bearing problems with my Tiger's too. I need to replace 7 of 20 MT2814 motors. I need to buy a lot of extra bearings, since I don't know when the other stock bearings fail.

    Mikrokopter Fan solution for BL-Ctrl 2.0 ?

Thanks Jes for the informative post, again :) I was an overclocker in the past, so I agree with your thermal notes. The reason I'm trying to implement a fan is simple: When I cruise around instead of hovering, the BL Ctrls stay warm, not hot. When I hover in summer time, it just gets too hot in...

    Mikrokopter Fan solution for BL-Ctrl 2.0 ?

Hello, I've just built my new ship CineStar 6 with MK electronics. It flies perfectly, I'll post some details on this craft soon. It runs Copter Control for camera stabilization. Here in Turkey, the weather is getting too hot, it's over 33 celcius right now and under the sun, the motors get...

    Trouble with APC 13X6.5

I'm not sure the cause of this problem is prop balancing. I have used APC 13x6.5 with weak arms in combination with MK3638 motors and didn't have any problems. I didn't balanced it either. I also use JXF wood props, which I'm quite happy with. They are very light, stiff, resistant to...

Hello Raceraustria, Taking photos of fairly large areas from bird's-eye-view sometimes hard. I need find a good angle and then I shoot it. Let me explain with examples: This photo is taken from about 350 meters high...

what to buy? Medium lift (1.5-2kg) for aerial photo/video

With my current setups, I can't see any differences between PH and AH on MK setup and WK-M setup. They're both rock solid. Especially after 0.88, AH of MK is very close to WK-M. For GPS, no difference. On the other hand, for photo shooting, if you are over 30 meters, holding the kopter in 0.5...

How high can you fly ?

For MK Bl-Ctrl, there is no need to make any software adjustments. Just making sure all the time, second capacitor is installed and they are always there. (Sometimes they can fall due to the vibration and it will continue to work with one capacitor. ) When using round arms, perfect motor level...

Okto XL - total loss, now I need a new one

The downside of using 3-axis gimbal and second operator is, you need a seperate controller which will handle the compensation of the Roll/Tilt axis. Yes you can try your Flight Ctrl but I think you should use some special firmware, I'm not sure about it. With 3-axis, you are dividing copter...

I also don't agree about MK configuration. The hard part is the soldering. If you get pass this stage, you're good to go. I'm spending much more time with WK-M settings.
