Want Gopro drone that "follows" and can be flow. Does it Exist?

The trouble these days is people make overly emotive statements which really do the writer no favours. Illegal before HUNDREDS are hurt and ALL drones are banned?. Seriously???

Want Gopro drone that "follows" and can be flow. Does it Exist?

Yeah saw that video, also saw another one which was a live demo as well which went ok. The video on the guardian website doesnt mean anything is a fake. That just means that a live demo went badly. You do know what the word fake means dont you?

Fake?, how do you know this. I saw another video of it being demonstrated which showed it working very well.

    Are all ESCs the same?

5 years and a dozen or more multis built, a lot of hours flying and I have yet to have a Turnigy plush ESC fail on me. Most of mine have been the 30amp ones

Hoverfly New Hoverfly Forum is now open!!

I got an automated message saying Al was going to be dealing with my ticket and in the reply it gave me a link. The HF website has all the relevant files on it now. Hope whatever they are doing if it is away from multirotors etc goes well for them.

Hoverfly New Hoverfly Forum is now open!!

So have they finally gone?. Are they no longer in business? Having had the best part of a year away from multis I fired up one of my machines a few weeks back. Decided to go download the manual and other info to get familiar with everything again and found their zendesk account was closed...

What kind of forum is this?

I read your first few comments and came to the conclusion that you were full of your own self importance. You started in a condescending tone and are carrying on in that manner. Maybe you need to take a long hard look at yourself, your ego and your manner before making derogatory comments about...

DJI put me in business, and is taking me out...

This week I was doing some photography work for a Maseratti car launch and there was a crew of 3 guys with a DJI Inspire. I doubt any of them were over 25. I got to chat to them for a while and found out they were part of a small multi media company and they had only had the Inspire for about 4...

    Hoverfly Hoverfly OSD wiring?

Unfortunately the HFP OSD doesnt give correct readings for the voltage if running 6v. I dont think they ever fixed it and I dont think anyone ever found a solution. Sorry.

Another near miss between helicopter and "drone"

I find arguments like this to be completely bonkers. You are using a 30 year old tragic incident as a justification of UAV's flying over crowds as being safer. Your whole argument here is wrong on so many levels. Firstly do we really need to have footage from above crowds??. It looks nice...

Wookong M GPS Mode - Fair Warning

I stay within my own personal limits for jobs. Basically I am doing still photography and so never get any more than roughly 50 meters (further if I use my bigger machine) away for the clients I shoot for. Its all about staying within your own safe limits. If I need to go further then i use FPV...

Wookong M GPS Mode - Fair Warning

People were using manual mode for AP for years before GPS became commonly used and there were nowhere near the number of incidents around today. The pro flyers I know using manual mode simply dont crash. I dont have GPS nor do i need it and have been doing this for 4 years now. 3 of them...

$65K drone crashed: why you should never touch your copter while it is airborne :)

I feel bad about what I wrote this morning, it was 5am and I was heading off to an early job so not fully switched on. The problem is that the things i dislike that others do are in truth things I do myself. I think thats why we react sometimes when we see others doing things we hate doing. So...

$65K drone crashed: why you should never touch your copter while it is airborne :)

Sadly most of the comments in here are tainted by ego's eager to put down someone elses incident so that they can make themselves feel superior. Nobody here was there at the time and nobody knows the full story. However plenty of people mocking and slagging off the operators. The guy from his...

    What's better then a gopro?

I have the RX100 and when I had a servo based gimbal I used the active stabilization option which gave me the best results. However you could always tell when the footage had the active stabilization because there would be weird things going on in the corners.
