Once the Setup client is running you should not need an internet connection. An internet connection is required with the Firmware Update Client.

Can you tell us what Firmware you are using and take a picture of your setup. Prefereably a closeup of the PRO/GPS showing surrounding electronics and where the GPS antenna is mounted.
