Boris, at first gains were at 150% and then I tried 175% with a slight increase in performance.
Most difficult thing is taking off!

I took it out today and posted the video on a separate thread here http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?p=21528
It was VERY windy but the WKM did me proud!

Me and a mate took the hexa out today to see what it did in high wind. One take-off was disastrous as the wind blew the heli over and it broke the camera gimbal!
Have a look, it's a bit long winded (pardon the pun) but you can see how it is battered by the wind...have a look from about 10:15...
Brilliant! It's always interesting to see what other people use their multis for. I bet it is quite interesting.

Hexacop, thanks for the insight. I have the new camera now, so I am going to try a panorama this weekend, hopefully the weather is good.
On another note, you are from the part of the world where I go every August, there is a little Stadfest in Arnstorf which I attend with my friends to enjoy...
Try take of from a level surface. If its slightly on the c0ck it's probably trying to level itself.

No, I got my license before the BNUC was an option. I did a days course with air2air in London and they accepted that as good enough. If I had a BMFA cert. I think that would have also been good enough.

Hexcam,
I have just changed helicopters, from a quad to a hexa. I enquired with the CAA and was told I just need to update my heli details with them and send an updated ops manual. I did that last night and emailed it off, just waiting for confirmation now.

I have the same problem. I really think its because I have set my 3 position switch to gps, atti and fail safe. I am sure if I set it to gps, atti and manual, it will work again.

I have just fitted it to the heli and it's looking very good. It fits well but is probably the max. weight my highsight gimbal can take. The photos looks good, i just have to wait until Saturday until I can test the video :( roll on summer and long evenings!

Well, many thanks to Hugh for all his patience today, as well as his help to show what my pano could look like with a bit of work. He rehashed the pano from the start, added some sky and spruced up all of the colours. It really shows when you know what you are doing ;)
Clickety click
Thanks...
