Mine also drops very quickly when it hits the red light, a bit of a flaw if you ask me. I'd rather it descend slower and risk ruining the battery, than plummeting and ruining the heli. I have to be really quick on the throttle, and I've been lucky so far! Something else to add to Daves wish...

Rolle, I had the same problem with my hexa. The IMU was facing backwards and not forwards. When I put a bit of gas, it flipped over. Double check the arrow is facing the right direction and also that it is correctly set up in the assistant. Regards, Gunter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rob, The price swayed me towards the J1. It's a cracking camera which produces brilliant pics and video. It is pretty small, but feels good and solid in hand. For a bit more money the NEX5 is probably a bit better video wise, but I haven't compared the pictures between the 2. I shot the pic...
