Yeah he shouldn't have been flying on hospital property, but from the various sources I've read on this, it's not really clear if he was deliberately hovering outside windows trying to peep on people, or if he was just doing aerial shots close to the building, and the people who saw it fly by...

So when I first starting building my f550, I picked up a 40W soldering station, per the advice of a bunch of folks... it worked fine for assembly of the drone, but now the problem is I've purchased a bunch of new Zippy Lipos that come with bullet connectors that I need to swap out for my own...

Can I ask what voltage you usually land at? I have that exact same setup, and I get about 10 mins even with 4s 5500... but I land at 14.3v (loaded) to keep on the safe side...

I'm running the new E300 15A with 4s and an H3-3D and it's incredibly smooth and stable so far. Props are nicely balanced, no vibration. Never used the old ones to compare, though. Flight in high winds - no post stabilization:

I finally figured this one out: It turns out one of the wires on the balance plug somehow detached inside the battery. It's hanging loose from the connector now. Does this mean I've gotta recycle it? Damn thing only lasted 3 flights, but I'm certainly not comfortable enough to attempt to repair...

Yes see my first post - I've done it all by the book. I don't think there's actually a bad cell. It's either bad wiring on the balance lead (could that even lead to "partial" voltage??), or a bad charger. My balance charger reads 12.9v (3*3.8v and 1*1.5v) but the voltage coming off the main line...

It's not fully charged though. Charger won't charge it - just errors. This is after a flight. 3.8v per cell...
