If you have an issue with your antenna Tx/Rx that might be the problem.

Just a thought. I know if you descend to quickly you end up in your own prop wash. This is very unstable air and will cause the craft to rock and sometimes crash. As said before, it is better to land at an angle or no quicker than the rate of the Auto-pilot.

The FC would abort the mission only because the low battery is activated, and that would then put the aircraft into FS. It would only make it home if there is enough power left for it to do so. The simulator lets you set up your waypoints and then fly's it. You should know how long your flight...

The way that I understand it is that the simulation mode on the GS is so that you can fly the mission and know if you have enough battery to fly it. If during the mission your power gets low the FS is suppose to terminate the mission and land the aircraft.

I agree with the couples lack of reaction. Also you can hear the propellers spinning and the sound of impact, but neither one of them makes a sound and you can hear the Phantom hit the ground (you know that had to hurt).
