Question about fail safe and signal loss

I'm kind of new to the RC world and I hear that this system is better than that system and so on. I like the set-up I use and it works for me, at this time. I think you are going to have to step out and change to a higher grade Rx. Just a heads up, RTH is different that Failsafe set on the...

    Starting out with Fat Shark

I use two circular antenna. They are 5.8 ghz circular wireless omni Tx/Rx antenna. They do come in 2.4 ghz if that is what you are using. If your RC Tx/Rx is 2.4 ghz then you should be using 5.8 ghz for your FPV, to prevent interference. Your can see them at: readymaderc.com.

Question about fail safe and signal loss

FlyGirl is correct. The one thing that I wonder about is why are you flying with a DX6i? You should be using at least a DX8. I suppose if it is working for you then what the ……

What's the besr battery charger for a F450?

I use a ONYX 245 dual charger w/balancer. It charges up to 5s, and for the bigger batts I use a Thunder Power 820D (it's dual charger also) with a 40A power supply. Their not expensive when you think about how long you want to have your batteries to last. I can charge, discharge, and put into...

    Newbie questions about batteries

I use a factor of 3.2-3.6 for my batteries. It's for failsafe. This might be a little simple, but if you have telemetry then just keep an eye on it or just use a stopwatch and see what you get. You'd have to figure in wind, humidity, temp, time to altitude and maneuvering. Just go out and have...

    Stuttering motors

I saw an issue like this and it was with a Blade MQX. It turner out to be a bad motor, but before I did any replacement I'd use a multi-volt meter and check the signal before the ESC's and then before the motors to be sure that the signal (power) is constant. Maybe power up the motors, one at a...
