If you drive to the field then you could attach your charger to the vehicle battery. A 12v sys will take a bit longer, but if your not in a hurry..... I clean the points of contact with some rubbing alcohol. I have never had any problem with them coming off. I fact I find it a bit of a pain to get them off when I need to change them for some reason.

As far as your camera coming off I use a couple of small zip ties through the dampeners/mounts to keep this from happening. I tighten them just before they restrict the dampeners action.

I use goggles for the photographer and a monitor for myself. That way he can see what he needs to see and I can see the aircraft and what the camera shows me on the monitor at the same time. Their both FPV. There are a few options out there so it becomes personal preference.

Check the Blade MQX. I found it easy to work with and still use it for skills and stick control. I have the BNF. There are a few others out there.

I keep my GPS above all else. The 2.4 ghz should not interfere with the 5.8 ghz. I also position my antenna down and as low as I can on the aircraft so as to have a better line of sight between my Tx/Rx. I'm not sure if the frame will have an interference factor. Good luck.
