Mikrokopter Building Hexa XL dis board

Pull off the navi and tuck it away until you get the FC working with the ESCs. The important thing on the distribution board is that you need a lot of heat and fast heat transfer especially on the negative side. The solder has to run all the way through the holes. It will not build up between...

Mikrokopter Building Hexa XL dis board

I use one like this (HY1803DL): http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=hy1803&_sacat=0&_odkw=hy1803dl&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313 It really does come in handy for many things from MKs to testing cameras, simulating low voltage, etc. If you were to use it to charge batteries though it...

    Thanks Bart!

Kilby, When you get to SF, keep your eyes open for the guy with a sign that says 'picture with a freak'. Then take picture of him and watch him get mad. :) Then slip him a buck if he allows you to hold the sign while your wife takes a picture of both of you. Don't forget to sanitize when you...

    new and need help

There's many different boards available and the choice really depends on what you are willing or able to do. Some require computer skills, soldering, construction, research, etc. Let us know a little more info and you will hopefully get a better answer. For starters, I would go with something...

    Mikrokopter FC Calibration

The buzzer has a positive and negative side. It's probably backwards if this is a new build.

Tau Labs ppssst....there are a few more left.

'Walk-about' was my way of saying 'disappeared in Australia'. Anyway, I had thought I fried my test board but I managed to get it working with a diode replacement. If someone in the US wants their first CC board, PM me. I will sell the brand new one destined for my bi-copter and keep the one...

    Mikrokopter is navi board needed

I would go with a plain FC board and maybe some type of OSD for battery voltage and RSSI.

    Bending Formable Carbon Tubes.

I have used sand quite successfully to bend PVC tubing. Never heard of using wax. That's a good idea.

Welcome aboard. Somehow I don't think you'll have any problem putting together an FPV setup. ;)

Mikrokopter First big crash and need help for analysing the log

Well if it's not the battery there are a few other things it could be. Check the gyros against the ACC in the scope. The lines should follow each other pretty closely when the MK it tilted and rolled. What parts and firmware are on the MK?

    Programming ESC's for I2C/PWM converter

I removed my ESC wires on one of my quads and had the same problem. I believe it is a ground issue. IOW: There's no common ground between the NiCad and the ESC. Get 5V power and ground from another source that shares the ESCs ground. I believe I pulled power off the receiver to power the...

    Mikrokopter Bad roll gyro

Did you also replace the resistor shown in the pic below? You could try gently squeezing the gyro onto it's carrier board while the scope is running to see if that changes things.
