What is the difference between Dji Naza and Wookong M

You can program switches to change rates and travel on sticks, input trim to cause a slow auto pan with a switch. POI is a great feature of WKM. You can assign a switch to return home w/o invoking fail safe routine. There really is a lot you can do with this kit.

What is the difference between Dji Naza and Wookong M

I am only familiar with the Zen as a 3 axis gimbal. I am sure it can be done with others it is just a question of channels, switches, sliders and dials on your TX/RX kit. My Futabas have 14 channels available, 2 sticks, 2 sliders and 2 dials, and lots of switches 2 and 3 positions. You can...

What is the difference between Dji Naza and Wookong M

In conjunction with Zenmuse and Futaba S-bus, one or two TX/RX is possible with both auto 3 axis and manual 3 axis control. Other TX/RX/Gimbals combos work as well. Check the Zenmuse manual.

First Video Flight - Something Went Wrong

Were any props broken? If so where were the parts and did you find all of them. A prop that came apart could cause this. A bad ESC connection could also cause this. What mode were you flying in? If the GPS antenna came loose in flight this could cause major problems if in GPS mode.

What is the difference between Dji Naza and Wookong M

It all depends on the TX/RC's you use, yes there are lots of videos, some with bad info but some good ones. It is not plug and play, you have to do research and basically understand the underlying technology. I would not say it is easy, but if you put some time and research into it you can make...

Cannot get naza to arm motors please help

You do know you have to move the left stick down and left and right stick right and down to arm the motors. Then you have 10 seconds or so to advance throttle above 10%. Sorry I don't mean to insult you. Before doing this make sure in assistant as mentioned above that the stick inputs are...

What is the difference between Dji Naza and Wookong M

Yes there is a separate controller for the Zen (it is part of the Zen Package) and it also needs WKM for Canbus communication to get compass information from the GPS/compass. I use two Futaba TX one to run the S800 and one for the Zen, this gives you the most control and is the easiest to set...

What is the difference between Dji Naza and Wookong M

The WKN also has 3 axis control for gimbals and can interface with Zenmuse and Ground station. WKM also has more options in flight modes like circle around a point of interest. WKM also has enhanced fail safe you can specify altitude to return at. You can also just assign a switch on your TX...

    Pre-Flight Checklists (Flamewheel)

If you take off in GPS mode, the auto pilot has much more input than in Atti. What this means is if the GPS decides that you are 3' to the east of where you are supposed to be it will correct to the west. Taking off its the most dangerous time in any aircraft. You are close to the ground and...

    Zenmuse Roll Drift

I get this as well. It comes and goes. Supposedly DJI is working on a fix. I talked with my dealer about it and he said it is widely known, he has the same problem. So we just live with it. My camera operator is vigilant. It seems to happen on fast acceleration, fast ascents/descents and yaws...

    DJI Zenmuse Gimbal for GoPro

@deanot... I am in the fortunate but maybe unfortunate situation this is a hobby, and a part of my business. I have spent millions on equipment and software over the decades. So a couple K is not that significant in the long run. What is important is the final product. And it is a lot of fun...

    DJI Zenmuse Gimbal for GoPro

I will probably end up with one. I already have the Zenmuse on a S800. I also run a GoProII on a 450 and I have a 550 with a pretty mediocre gimbal for the Nex or GoPro. I like the idea of a cheaper smaller second rig and although I have several Cameras over $10K I still often use GoPro...

    DJI Zenmuse Gimbal for GoPro

If it is $500 they will sell a tons of them. If it is $1000 a half ton. $2000 a couple pounds. This is in my estimation for what it is worth...:shame:

    Pre-Flight Checklists (Flamewheel)

Make sure every fastener on the Flame is tight. Battery/s velcroed on tight. I always try to have my CG right in the middle. Pick up the Multi by opposing arms and make sure it is level on all arm pairs. Battery placement is the easy way to balance, velcro is great for this. Make sure the LED...

Zenmuse V2 HDMI board installation caution...

I have the NEX-5n it is a different board for the Pany version, but probably works the same in assistant. In the assistant there is a channel X3 I think it is the lowest one in the panel. I assigned that to a switch on my Futaba TX it is channel 6 normally VPP linked to throttle J3 I just...

Preventing a MR from taking off inadvertently

I just clamp a piece of plywood across the landing gear to my work table. and I have a longish XT60 chord attached to a single lipo when I am working in the assistant. I end up doing this quite a bit to tune the Zenmuse. There is no way the 800 will fly away with my 200lb table. And if the...

Zenmuse V2 HDMI board installation caution...

First the good news. The on off rec video works as well as take photo. At least in my initial trial hooked to the assitant sw. This is great news. I have the NEX-5n version. The bad news for me, I broke the HDMI cable removing it from the V1 board, so the video signal is no longer getting...
