New to quads, mis this a good setup

Yes a dedicated FPV cam gives a different view and if you have room you'll get a better view from the FPV cam. Now keep in mind I fly the GoPro all the time and my videos were all flown with the GoPro as the cam

Transmitter is all preference & the video to goggles is good, just something you have to view for yourself if anyone local has a set you can look through. The 700/600 cams from ReadymadeRC are both great and I was told the go-to cam of choice is the 600 for the $. I have a TBS69 right now and...

New to quads, mis this a good setup

Depending where you located I personally love my Futaba after using Spektrum and Futaba. Devo is one of those that I have no experience with and don't see many touching them here in the states. I went with the custom goggles kit as well and have enjoyed every minute of mine! readymadeRC is the...

Stick with Graupner props, 9" at that light of a frame if going with 900Kv T-motors. Is the Devo a transmitter your familiar with? What FPV gear have you looked at that will fit on the F450 frame? Just some food for thought as I packed ally FPV gear on that frame and had great success

Ooooh yea, the wire has that thicker tube around the wire to "protect it" :0) The field is really strange as it's nnext to that lush green farming land in the "DesJardins FPV" video and I see a tractor once in a while go through it. It makes for a great area and the farther you head out the...

This was with the Circular Wireless Omni Skew Planar Wheel 5.8GHz Tx/Rx Antennas. The other video I am going to edit I went out to .83 of a mile before turning around (close to the High power lines you can see in the distance of this video)

    Testing DJI 30A ESC's?

Which ever arm is dropping out, change just the motor with the opposite side to see if it's the ESC or more commonly the bad solder joints on the stock motors bullet connectors.

    LED on NAZA itself?

Thanks Kloner, couldn't have said it any better. Dave, basically what it comes down to "are you willing to take that chance" don't forgot we talked about it! :0)

    LED on NAZA itself?

Yup, light inside the Naza is normal. Have you seen the threads regarding "covering" the left side of the Naza so direct sunlight doesn't cause a big drop in altitude while flying in GPS/Atti modes?

Thanks Kloner, that's as simple as it can be and yup I'll put everything to the vtx pads to make sure it goes through the core and regulated at 12v I feel so f'n dumb over thinking the connections, damn loser LMAO

Thx for the help bro, so with this vtx below I'm only going to use 3 wires or 4? Going from the bottom up GND BATT VID Solder these onto the pads and be done? I noticed the pad has an Audio solder pad as well so does that just get left alone

Yup, I'm looking for the right combo of these wires. Have to use the seperate power/ground but which of the other wires from the larger Molex connector has to be used? I can't get an answer even on the TBS forum...

Hey George, kind of... Only problem is all of those cables use 4 wires from the right side of the vtx, supplying 5v to a cam and audio as well. it would need to be a custom molex cable using (from my guess) the following... power/ground/video/ground, eliminating the rest so that the small plug...

Ok, I'll chat with you soon I went standard pass through pads since I'm running 3S but it would be awesome if somebody like TBS made an Immersion/fatshark Molex style connector where it's also pre-wired with the small plug to go right into the vtx side of the TBS frame. Kind of like that little...
