New Proposed Interim Rules Commercial Use

I have been watching this entire process very closely from the beginning and have had several conversations with a couple of FAA officials and the question that is still unclear to me is the UAS Aeronautical Knowledge Test. Many are speculating that this will be the same test currently required...

Trouble shooting help needed with iosd data log

The difference in CW vs CCW motor amps is due to the misalignment. Most would never notice the degree of misalignment in our frames as it is usually less than 0.1 degree out of the box. Hence you are not having the traditional issues that most with round tubes have where misalignments of 1.0...

Trouble shooting help needed with iosd data log

Pumpkin This is an easy one. Frame tuning motor alignment. It is very easy with our frame and permanent unlike round arms with clamp on mounts. There are two ways to do it, the more labor intensive is on our website under pro tips. The easy way is to shim the mounts. Please call me and I will...

Wookong experts need fail safe advice

Throttle at 50% - dead centered. Once RTH is triggered (as a result of the loss of radio signal OR when the RTH switch is manually activated when you wish to have it RTH), the FC takes control and will RTH and land.

XAircraft Super X yaw left constantly???

Just another thought.... Are you starting with a Airplane or Heli profile? Use Airplane..... Many radios automatically use tail rotor mix (rudder) in the profile.... could this be the issue?

Wookong experts need fail safe advice

Modular... I think you are confusing two different aspects of "failsafe". 1. The RTH function can be set-up as part of failsafe, but this is only one piece in of the puzzle... the WKM portion. 2. The "failsafe" is set-up in the TX and then bound to the RX to save the "loss of radio signal"...

XAircraft Super X yaw left constantly???

Fltundra... thanks for that... but it just adds to the thought that something is really wrong... full left/right trim??? Linkage adjustment shifted all the way to left or right?? I can say I am surprised that with 100% that it is not yawing much faster... I wonder if he connected a servo to the...

XAircraft Super X yaw left constantly???

When you say that the Rudder (yaw) stick provides no control.... this is the problem! If the aircraft is not responding to a control from the TX then you need to look at that channel... Is the RUDD channel properly configured to RDD on the RX? Is there some TRIM added to the RUDD channel in the...

Yaw rotation stops after 270 degrees.

Perhaps a bad POT on the Rudder stick? Is this a new problem or it has been this way all along? Perhaps try a different radio? Perhaps hook up a servo to the RUDD output of the RX and see if it acts the same??

    The Future of Propeller Technology

Sleepy... Are the props your using the Tarot / Foxtech? Are they Plastic or Carbon Fiber? Are the Pitch of the propellers the same? I have no doubt that the "flex" in the plastic props will give you a "smoother", "softer"... flight response.... as do all blades with less rigidity...but they are...

One motor starting slightly slower. Vid in slo-mo

I think you would have found out sooner than later...... As it progressively gets worse, you try and tune it out with gains and then again and again until it is not tunable. Then it start flying like a "drunken sailor".... This I have seen a few too many times....
