IR camera controls - How to Mount

I use velcro but wondered what ingenious ways other users have come up with to attach IR canera triggers to their cameras?

Sellotape , Bubblegum or blutac
on a more serious note usually velcro soft part wrapped round the ir part and firm part on the camera body.
