New to the forum, but I have been a drone pilot, builder, real estate, commercial, for years. I am currently faced with a task for a company I am contracted to find a gimbal that is 3 axis, but also give angle feedback for a program the company is creating. Finding a working gimbal is not the problem, finding a gimbal that sends what angle the pitch is at has been a task I am stumped with. For example the camera is now looking at -20 degrees and as the pilot moves the camera up and down that value changes. We either are looking for a complete gimbal or a IMU controller that has these features.
We currently use the pixhawk mini, pihawk 2.1 with cube, pixhawk 4, and pixhawk 4 mini for the flight controller of the drones we have. Gimbals we current have on are the tarot t4-3d. These allow us to control only the pitch, but we don't get angle feed back.
I am curious if anyone here has seen something like this on the market.
