Help with new drone (still new to the hobby)

Hi all thanks for reading, I'm new to the hobby have a micro drone that's been flying really nice, however got a new drone I got the Pro flight maverick air, the issue I'm having it im having to hold the right joystick all the way to the right to have it even close to a hover, then if I let the control go it just zooms away to the left, therefore I don't have any right bank it just levels the drone off instead of banking, any advise is much appreciated. Thanks
