Just picked up a Taranis QX7 and the BabyHawk drone. I put the receiver into the quad and have attempted to bind the two. Spent a lot of time reading and watching videos and I'm either missing something simple or something is wrong. It won't bind, I never see a green light on the receiver.
Made a model in the Taranis, set it to D16, turned on bind (beeping starts) then while holding down the button the babyhawk's receiver I attach battery for power, and nothing binds from there.
I made a short video to show what I'm doing and the result.
The Taranis is running OpenTX FW version 2.2 dated 5-30-2017. At this point, I have hit the new guy to the hobby wall on troubleshooting further, any suggestions?
