Arming when indoors for testing only ?

Hi all

For testing purposes is there a way to get a pixhawk to arm and run the motors indoors, for testing.

I have tried turning then all off in the Arming Checks section on Standard Params but it still says need 3D fix to arm and i obviously cant get a 3D fix indoors

Is there some way of getting it to arm and run the motors indoors.

Thanks

Paul

That sounds odd. I'm pretty sure if you disable the GPS check it will arm. However, if all you want to do is test motors then the 'Motor Test' option in the setup section is the way to go (assuming you are using Mission Planner).

I want to run the motors to do the magnetic calibration test and calibrate the Amp reading of the power module.

Looks like it might be the fact that I have enabled geofence stopping me from doing it even though I have everything disabled.

Will have another go when I get home to test.

I have 10/20 sats w/ DOP/HDOP/VDOP of 1.1/0.7/0.8 inside on my phone. The Pixhawk would probably not pass the GPS check with that great of an error. +/- 15ft would make for some 'interesting' hover patterns I'd bet.

Just to confirm

It was the Geofence being enabled that was stopping it from running.

All calibrations done now.

Just need a calm day to try and fly them.
