Prop hub adapters 101

Hi

Totally new to multirotors and have my first of many questions.

Have 5mm Prop adapters on my Storm motors and the props that came with my multirotor have 5mm hubs. Props came with 3mm, 4mm and 5mm hub adapters. Do I need to put the 5mm hub adapters in or can I just not use them seeing as though they are technically not needed?

Question...
Are you saying that the hole in the prop is 6mm and that you have a 6mm to 5mm bushing?
If this is the case, then YES you should use the 6mm to 5mm bushing.
Perhaps I am not understanding the question...
