Throttle stick issues with setting up the Futaba 6K and Naza V2 flight controller. Any thoughts?

I initially had issues using the s-bus channel in that I could not get the "control mode switch" to work on any of the Futaba 6K switches. So I went to the traditional wiring interface. Through the Naza Assistant I can see everything working properly including the control mode switch and IOC. The A,E & R channels are working correctly, however the throttle is reversed (up=slow/down=fast). I have tried reversing the servo both in the Futaba menu and in the Naza Assist and although the stick is traveling in the proper direction, up remains slow. I even went into the Futaba "THR-REV" menu and reversed the switch there, but it's still reversed (up=slow/down=fast). I can start the motors with the stick in the up position and increase speed by pushing to the down position, but can't get it to reverse, or function normally (up=fast / down=slow). Any thoughts on what I might be overlooking?

I've checked with our experts on this and they do not have specific experience with the 6K but are going to reach out to our contacts at Futaba to see if we can get an answer

Hey Fred, have you been able to figure this out, or are you still having this problem?

Hey Fred,

I had a similar issue once. Did you select s-bus in the naza assist software so that the changes stay stored? Its also easy to reverse a channel in the radio without actually storing the setting. When all the channel directions are correct, moving both sticks to the upper right corner will result in the sliders in the assistant software moving to the right.

Hope that helps get you back on track.

Great point Luke, this can be easily overlooked. Lets see if Fred is still having this problem, hope your advice helped solve it.

Did you check off the s-bus spot in the Assistant GUI. first. Be sure the receiver is linked to the TX first in all Futaba Transmitters I have used the Throttle channel always needs to be reversed. I have never used that TX but that is the basics to look at first.

@Jim RC Hobbies, Welcome to the forum!!!
Guys&Gals: Jim has been a friend of mine for quite a while now, he is a very talented professional Heli and Multirotor builder who loves to explore new things and ideas (I guess the word I'm looking for is tinkerer:). He's been always very helpful to me. He's pretty familiar with many different RC and Flight controllers and other electronics, and I am very happy to see this "well of drone knowledge" join the forum.
