I look forward to reading lots in here. I am starting from scratch with multi rotors, I have flown before and had two great align trex 700e helis and loved flying them but have taken a break for a few years and want to get a quad for a gopro 3+ I like Qaulity products and would like to be able to use a dslr down the track in my heli so if you have any suggestions through them at me.

Welcome to MRF. I'm in Brisbane there is a Drone Users on Meetup.com we had a get together today and was great to talk to a bunch of people with all different setups and experiences. As far as what to choose there are so many options on the market today. A quad is not really going to carry a DSLR and even a F550 with upgrades will struggle but get something like a F450 as a good learning platform and will handle a gopro no problem.

It certainly is... although we have not meet in about a month there was discussion of organizing one soon. Join up the more people interested the more stuff will happen etc.
