DJI 2212 motor (F450) problem.

Last flight, the quad (a DJI F450) came down a little heavy, when I tried to fire it up again, one motor wouldn't turn. On closer inspection, the centre shaft had dropped most of the way out the bottom of the motor, if I push it back up the motor turns & I can take off, however don't want to fly on a dodgy motor.

Is there a way to permanently fix this, or is a new motor the only way forward? :(

Thanks

That sounds fixable? so I just need a c clip... although from memory (i don't have it in front of me) I believe there is still a c clip on the bottom end, should there be another somewhere?

I believe that there is a set-screw at the top of the outer can (just under where the prop sits) and a c clip at the bottom. Take out the set screw and put a light smear of threadlock on it and tighten it back up.
