I can't get FPV working with my Sony Nex-5N - help!

Hello everyone,

I'm having quite a weird issue that I'm hoping that someone can help with. My setup is a Sony Nex-5N with a HDMI to AV converter going into a RMRC 1500mW 1.3ghz transmitter, being received by a RMRC 1.3ghz receiver and then being output to an 8" RMRC FPV monitor.

The odd part is that I can get this setup working just fine with a cheap Fatshark FPV camera, but as soon as I plug in the Nex-5N, I can only get an extremely weak signal with an extreme amount of snow. I have tried every combination on both 1258 mhz and 1280 mhz, flipping the NTSC/PAL switch on the HDMI to AV converter and every possible NTSC/PAL setting on the monitor, but nothing is playing nice.

The transmitter is being fed 12V and the HDMI to AV converter is being powered by the camera. On the HDMI converter, I have the white wire connected to the yellow wire on the transmitter, and the black wire connected to the white wire on the transmitter. Yes, I have tried to swap them.

Here's a video of the issue that I'm having:

Any ideas would be highly appreciated! Thank you!
