Lets not get too carried away. The States are trying to prevent law enforcement from using drones against citizens. It seems like a lot of states are jumping on the band wagon. No one wants the kind of drone warfare that we see on TV overseas.

Our multi-rotors are just an advanced RC toy in comparison to military drones.

Doesn't it mean they set the bill aside when they refer to "table" the bill? Confusing article.

From what I can tell, alot of the states are banning the use of drones for surveillance, and personally im all for this action. So, Law Enforcment, Banks, Creditors, and other financial type systems cant be used to drop our bills from the air....

tstrike, for the most part is correct. Minus the cynicism (which I more or less share, btw) when they 'Table' a bill...it is still a pending bill or other piece of legislation...they have just decided to place it on hold and come back to it at a later date. Now....that doesn't mean they HAVE to come back to it, only that they intend to come back to it.

If they don't get around to revisiting the matter prior to the end of that particular session of Congress....then I believe that it dies unaddressed. (Although I might be mistaken on that point....I am pretty sure that is the deal) If whomever introduced the bill wants it bad enough, he can then re-introduce it during the next session of Congress.

A great many Tabled bills die every year (or at least are never revisited). It's a pretty regular occurrence.

Apart from that, I was always interested of what is going on behind the scene of law-making and what type of people are actually involved....are they young, old, skilled, clueless......

That's the first time I could see a part of the law-making process and who is involved......get your own impression, but being a liberal person, it made me really sick......
