Does anyone know if you can fly a flame wheel 550 with a Futaba 8j heli version...the shop I bought it from said yes....if so are there any sources of information that can help me set it up...sites..utube etc?

Ok so after you bind the futaba 8j to the receiver what other steps do you take .. If any to make sure the nasa knows it's communicating with the futaba transmitter?

Now built and getting flashing yellow continuous ......I guess it's never easy lol

Im using a Futuba 8J transmitter and what i mean by bus to x2 and nasa to x1: the transmitter inputs: xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxx where xxx(bottom row)=cbus so xxx is connected to x2 on the nasa(I'm thinking this could be the problem ) x5 x4 x3 x2 x1 x x x x x x x x x...

Ok we'll see what happens Im pretty sure the connections are correct...tansmitter: bus to x2 , nasa to x1...if needed I'll take a pic and let the experts see....Im assuming I should set the reciever to d BUS?. Im a college grad but this project was not easy, of course what worth having is...

All, After suffering through a challenging build of a 550...still have some problems 1. connected/bound my fataba 8J to the receiver 2. updated/ran the firmware and the software assistant 3. noted my compass calibration was very high (over 100) 4. when I turn it on I get fast flashing yellow...

Experts, Ok well I'll have to admit Im stuck on the build of my Flamewheel 550. I took the phantom apart 3 times and got to know it well..thought I'd upgrade. now stuck. Some questions: 1.On the ESCs how are they plugged in to achieve clockwise and counterclockwise connections...theyre marked...

ALCON, Hopefully I'll be able to glean some good info from this site. I had a Phantom and just ran out of payload-ability(if thats a word). Sold it and Im currently building a Flamewheel550 (with Zemuse and home station for Ipad) and I am getting stuck on some of the initial steps(e.g. ESC...
