    Wookong-M wind stability

Very nice Ken! Very stable!# Look forward to seeing the change with the new update, although it's very good as it is! Was that with the AV200 mount? Alex

    Wookong-M on a RC-Carbon 900 mm boom

Ken & Boris! Thanks so much for the appraisal, very helpful! I'm glad the DJI worked well on the Quad config as that's where I'll be to begin with. Were you flying in + or x mode? I will be waiting with interest to see the firmware upgrade for the larger airframes. I went though something...

    Wookong-M on a RC-Carbon 900 mm boom

Hi Ken, Brilliant, thanks for clearing that up! I know they released a power module, but I'm new to this system so I think I've luckily missed out on this particular problem! With a dozen hours you should have a good grasp of the system by now. How do you find it?

    Wookong-M on a RC-Carbon 900 mm boom

BorisS You're not wrong about the price of Jeti! Ouch! And they've suffered enormously at the hands of China in the last few years as a result. I think they're worth it but it's judgement call. People seem to have a lot of problems withn their ESCs..... Regarding update rates and compatability...

    Wookong-M on a RC-Carbon 900 mm boom

Hi Guys, New to this forum - just flicked through and I thought I'd make a couple of comments - a little late maybe but still! RE motors & ECSs: Just a quick point here. People have been talking about voltage regulation and the heat that causes in terms of brushless motor ESC operation. FYI...

    Looking for Camera gimbal

My mount will handle a 550D no problem. I've tested it with a 30D, with a Canon 35 - 70 zoom and it was fine. Unfortunately to properly carry and control the weight of camera you want carry, the mount needs to be strong and there's no way to avoid a certain amount of weight and quite a high...

    Looking for Camera gimbal

Hi Ovdt, You're right it is fairly heavy at 870g, it was designed for a very large airframe (you can see it at the bottom of the ad on the website). It actually weight almost exactly the same as a current AV200 360 (about 40g more), and is designed to carry a heavy camera (up to 2.4Kg). Bit of...

    Looking for Camera gimbal

That mount looks OK but it uses toothed gears for drive. Not very smooth, and vulnerable to wear, slop, broken teeth and jumping. A version with toothed belts is much smoother and more reliable, and if you're prepared to spend that much on a mount, it's worth spending the bit extra for belt drive.

    Looking for Camera gimbal

3 axis mount Hello! If you are still looking, I have a Photo Higher 3 axis gimble custom made for me by Kimberley Attwell a couple of years ago. Not new but not used - fitted to a frame that never flew and so it's now redundant. Full details on my website: UAVshop.co.uk Alex
