    Need Recommendations for New Buy

I am not interested in tinkering around with a rig like some of you guys enjoy. I need a turnkey system. The issue with the DJI Inspire is the 4k camera is not all that great I hear. I do like the altimeter/positioning systems for indoors work. Not sure why the Rulings transmitter never came out...

    DJI S-1000 Warning

Just a point of frivolous contention here: In metallurgy, the word billet, which is pronounced bill-A with a long A for the same reason we don't say "fill-it", billet means a round or square cross section piece of metal. It has been popularized by car accessory magazines and product...

    New DJI S1200 Coming!

I was at the NAB show and DJI privately confirmed they will be coming out with a new, larger multirotor called the S1200. This will handle the likes of RED and other much heavier cams.

DJI S1000 Owners Thread - Mini Build Log

I am not a fan of its portability. The S800 arms came off for very easy transport in a small flat suitcase. This one takes a huge beast of a box, perfect for airline luggage revenue. I wish they would have made the arms removable with no tools like the S800.

    Jeti and S800 Evo?

Nice setup Boris. Did you need any weird, strange connectors to get the Jeti receivers to connect to all things Wookong? Also, which stick or sticks did you use to control the Zenmuse, and what sticks do you normally use for regular flight? How can anyone fly these rigs without a second man...

    Jeti and S800 Evo?

What do you all think of using this transmitter with an S800? I like the large display for telemetry near the top, but not above the case, where I think a second screen should be installed as part of a FPV system. I may still need a 2nd less expensive transmitter/receiver and 2nd camerman to...

Can You all Recommend a Good DJI Dealer?

I am looking to get an S800, but I have a few questions, so we are looking for a good dealer. Too many characters just become paper dealers and sell the goods, but really know nothing of the product nor have any real relationship with the manufacturer. I;m not interested in all that. I did see...

    S800 v Cinestar 8?

Does the Zenmuse gimbal always stay rotated out of the way so I am not filming the landing skids?

    S800 v Cinestar 8?

What will the S800 do for me that the Cinestar at almost twice the price won't do? Does the S800 new gimbal mount rotate out of the way like the Cinestar gimbal does? What about low battery return and land features?

Nanokopter formation flying video..Thought you guys might enjoy

autonomous multirotor synchronized flight Perhaps it is a bit of s stretch to say they are "learning" but a slick video none the less, especially the hilarious intro text.

Need STABLE Multicopter Recommendations, 99% look unsuitable 4 filming

I will throughly go over the new reply post additions. I have seen Jeff's website before. The snow cabin sequences shot with a multicopter are really pro. Slick intro background music too...sounds like what the GoPro people have also used. I know there is an advantage to shooting 4k, as if one...

Need STABLE Multicopter Recommendations, 99% look unsuitable 4 filming

By the way, here is a perfect example of a nice, compact, clean looking unit, and the building firm wants to show off their gyro stabilized camera mount. Look at the top of the camera in relation to the horizontal lines of the house architecture. That is one majorly useless gyro mount! If I put...

Need STABLE Multicopter Recommendations, 99% look unsuitable 4 filming

It is not economically feasible to hire someone to fly International to the location for filming, so I will have to do it if I go that route. The Cinestar 6 demo films show good smooth camera work. Is it just that smaller to medium systems and gyro camera mounts are incapable of getting such...

Need STABLE Multicopter Recommendations, 99% look unsuitable 4 filming

Hello Droider, and thanks for the welcome. I am across the pond in the States. I think the Cinestar 6 RTF with a gyro camera mount is about 10-11K. Doesn't look particularly portable without spending an hour disassembling all the arms. I do see they have a kit, looks like about 5K excluding...

Need STABLE Multicopter Recommendations, 99% look unsuitable 4 filming

It would have to be electric, as the noise of a 2 stroke glow engine would not work, nor would the cost of a turbine and the logistics of traveling with all that including fuel.
