CP doesn't like looking down very much. Gimbal is fine with it - just need to deal with CP or AM - both frustrating in their own ways. I've given up on horizon with CP - just can't do direction changes in the middle of a clip (which we don't do anyway) and the horizon will at least stay...

Misprint in my sig - it's a S1000. We only brought one rig to the shoot - we use a different gimbal on each rig - long story. We came back later and finished - at a discount. Thanks for the kind words!

Shoot, sorry, can't figure out - embed settings are set to show the full-screen icon, and in Vimeo it shows the full-screen button. I set it to show the vimeo button which you can click on to go to the page. I liked AM/encoders better, but the AM crapped out on a job - absolute nightmare...

Couldn't ever get the thing to fly - devoted a lot of time with several test flights. No crashes, but yaw was ridiculous. Think it may have been the frame which was designed for flat 6 originally. Moved on to a Tarot flat 6 which crashed in testing because its a crap frame Finally broke...

Did the AM AutoTune, and stabilization was at least as good as Phobotic! But....for some unexplainable reason the AM crapped out on us mid-flight this morning. More work to be done, so we're switching back to Phobotic. Argh......somebody please make something that works and doesn't cost as...

Actually, on a better look, stabilization is not near as good as Phobotic. I think it is my settings, which I will work on. The footage we recently shot is going to look great after a bit of post stab, but I know it can be better. Probably won't have anything for you for a couple weeks, this...

Just wanted to let you guys know that we did our first serious flying with AM and Encoders on the MR after previously using the Phobotic. Stabilization on AM is excellent. Phobotic also has excellent stabilization. The horizon on AM is quite a bit better than Phobotic, but still not...

Make sure autofocus is turned off and mf is set to infinity. AF will wreak havoc in the air....

Hmmm...I don't have any PMs in my box from you. Try e-mail - tombrown1@yahoo.com There is post stab in the above video - but like the corn maze vid we didn't need too much. Gimbal and CP give great stabilization. We also did some horizon adjusting in about half the shots.

Would LOVE to work with the new one - but our NX1 and lens are running around 940 grams. Should have some more Infinity MR video to share later tonight.

If you go to a gig and it looks like hell because your gear stinks, then you won't get hired again. Spending more SHOULD save you money.
