    8s Battery supplier?

Thanks Old Man! I will give MaxxAmps a call. Ary, What thrust output are you getting and how many amps are you drawing with the 20" props on the 5215s??

    8s Battery supplier?

I forgot to mention the AUW will be 19 KG. According to the KDE specs, on 6s the 5215-330kv motors will give 1900 g of thrust at 50% throttle with 18" props. 1900*8=1520 which leaves me a little underpowered. On 8s they put out 3350 g of thrust. 3350*8=26,800. This leaves some headroom and some...

    8s Battery supplier?

Hi All, I'd like to run 8s on a new heavy lift build. 8s packs are hard to come by. I'm wondering if anyone has a good source for 8s packs? Ideally I want 12,000 mah packs. Here's what I'm building: Skyjib X4-XL Coaxial KDE 5215 - 330kv Motors, KDE 55AMp ESCs with 18" Props 2 X 12,000MAH...

Aeronavics / Droidworx Proposed SkyJib X4 Build

@Carapau Between the Vulcan Raven and the SkyJib X4-XL, which frame to you think is better suited for heavy lifting? Do you find the construction to be better on one over the other? I'm on the fence between the 2 frames.

    XAircraft SuperX

Hi all, I'm hoping to get some feedback on my blackbox data from a scary flight I had last week with my SuperX Octocopter. I was filming some crops near some grain silos. There were some small microwave dishes and a few cellular antennas mounted to the top of the silos. I decided to fly...

KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

I just ordered some KDE 4014s for my heavy lift octo, and I need to get this bird in the air soon for some upcoming projects. Unfortunately I can't wait until mid May for KDE to release their new ESCs, so I need to get something now. I've been hearing mixed reviews on using Maytech Esc's, and...
