Thanks Joebob. Someone suggested trying the original droid planner instead of tower or DP2. It allegedly solves the range issues. I'm going to try it tonight

Thanks for the reply Joebob. It has to be greater than 3 to 4 metres as you can't use follow me mode otherwise. Other people have a range of up to 100 metres with it. I've just upped the power on the vehicle side radio so hopefully that will solve the issue
