Flying such a large and heavy Multirotor over such a dense crowd. There's no way to make that safe. It's amazing though; no serious injuries, apparently.
Smaller and lighter would be better, but no less damaging to the public perception.
There are laws to deal with this. If nothing else, it's jeopardizing public safety.
I sincerely doubt there may be ramifications for the professional community who follow the laws, buy permits, have insurance, set up secure perimeters and work with local authorities to ensure safety.

I'm an FPV pilot and even I can see the need for regulation to prevent this type of reckless flying in risky environments. Permits, insurance, safety plan and other restrictions at the least. I do suspect that at least some of this would be covered under existing laws in many jurisdictions.

Just because you can buy it, doesn't mean you can fly it. No safeguards such as containment and safety staff. The whole situation was uncontrolled. Simply irresponsible.
Oh brother! FPV is about the visual flying experience. FPV pilots like to feel like they're flying. It's about fun.
People with big rigs use them for AP, they aren't in it for video piloting, they're in it for pictures. Two completely different applications. You may as well be comparing 3D...
