I have a fleet of Zippys and one 8000 mAh swollen while in storage, about 2 weeks after i storage charged it. The battery was almost new, charged at storage voltage with iCharger 3010b using the storage program. The battery was also stored in cool and dry place, with extra isolator caps on...
DJI is hiding serious problems since 5.0.2. I tried to talk with them about this and they played stupid. I posted a few potentially very dangerous bugs on the forum. They never fixed anything. Sooner or later this bad attitude with customers will come back and blow in their face.
My guess is...
Does anybody have a list of countries where flying multirotors for business is illegal?
What exactly is not legal?
Is there a ceiling limit or something, like in airspace classes from in civil aviation ?
I there a limit on weight?
Is this law applicable to all land, public an private?

I have a special support where i strap the "ninja" on the table. Never trust a multirotor with props on, especially DJI !!! It may flew off the table any time, without reason. Happened to me.
First, i'm not an aircraft engineer and i'm just guessing and asking for arguments.
Bartman, Well.. maybe because the lower propeller is in the very fast stream of air coming from the upper propeller? the lower propeller will spin in the airflow even the motor is not connected to power so it...
Is there any study about efficiency of a coaxial versus normal engine configuration?
Does anyone knows if in coaxial configurations the lower propeller spins faster than upper propeller? because logically it should...

Sounds like a WKM glitch. Unfortunately there is no guaranty from any manufacturers if failing electronics crash your multirotor. They will always say, "uhmmm is your fault, you probably did something wrong" :-).
That's why a third party liability insurance will come in handy sometimes, for...
Why even use power distribution? Just solder the wires together and isolate them with thermo retractable, it's way safer. Those boards make absolutely no sense, electrically speaking. Maybe only for esthetic reasons, but are just another thing that can go wrong with high currents, vibrations...
I'm a film producer, also worked a lot in post production as editor or visual effects consultant and for the last 8 years i did this for a living. There are two different approach to editing. You go as a pro or you go amateur depending on the quality needed.
For amateurs light stuff you may use...
DJI has a lot of explaining to do but they just don't care.
The day after in warned them about a serious and dangerous bug covered in this thread: http://www.multirotorforums.com/showthread.php?3688
they patched and silently moved to 5.04, a version which was not ready yet but forced to be...
