I am going to wait and see what happens with the WKM before I buy anything. I was hoping that it would be everything they said it would be. The plug and play part is what really interested me about the WKM. I don't mind the assembly part of putting everything together but the science project...
More toward the the pro side. The $4000 is for the the basic Hexa or Octo. It will carry a Canon 5d. The camera mount will come later. I am a beginner at this but I don't understand the benefit of the Y6 or the X8 over the flat Hexa or Octo.
From what I could research, the way the motors are set...
If you had $4000 US and had to spend it to build a Hexa or Octo for AP and AV use, what would you build? What FC, what frame, what motors. Tell me your thoughts, please.;)
I didn't mean to sound impatient. I had a couple of responses and for them, I am grateful. I waited a day and a half to ask again. My lack of response from some of the people posting the great videos on this forum, tells me everything
I need to know. Some times what a person does not say, tells...
I have been involved with photography at a professional level for more than 25 years. A couple of year ago, I got bored with photography and put my Hasselblad away. Researching the Hexikopters heavily for the past several months has gotten me very interested in the AP and AV part. My question...
It looks like some type of Pelican case. I use one for my photo equipment. They come with the foam inserts that are perforated in half inch squares and you just remove them to the shape of whatever you are going to carry.
RTRyder, how long before you have the new FC up and going? I think this is the FC that I want to go with but an unbiased opinion would help to make me more comfortable with the choice.
Emo, I am totally new to the r/c world but I have been involved with photography for over 25 years. Most of my camera equipment will not work for what I want to use the Hexa for because it is mostly medium format cameras, Hasselblad. The last couple of years I have kind of not done a lot of...
Here is what he sent me. I took the prices out, except for the FC.
Coptersky Hexa XL Frame
DJI WK-M = $1200 (on sale, savings of $200)
AVroto Motors (6)
Turnigy Plush esc (6)
Labor to build and setup and ship = TBD
Plus have to add your TX and RX and a 4s lipo.
As far as I can see, there...
I checked the manual and there is no mention of any type of power ring. It shows where the esc connects directly into the FC. I also talked to Robert and he said there is no type of power ring. In the kit that he quoted me, there is nothing like a power ring or board. Maybe I am missing something.
I brought this FC up in another thread. From what I can tell, this FC does everything that the MK does but the waypoints. I have been emailing the guy that is the U.S. distributor and from what I see, this is the FC that I am going to use. I like the way it is plug and play. No assembling a...
