    Tiger-Motors U8 + 28x9,2 props

Thanks Ferdinand ! Seems that Foxtech props are better than T-motor props .

    Tiger-Motors U8 + 28x9,2 props

Guys, far as you know is Falcon Hobby (the manufacturer of T-Motor propellers) the same of Foxtech propellers ?

    Tiger-Motors U8 + 28x9,2 props

Hi Ferdinand , I agree , you are absolutely right . I follow your work since a long time and I know how much effort you invest in it, my compliments . I just wanted a confirmation that once again RC manufacturers are unfair giving untrue performance data . With a lighter battery pack, let say...

    Tiger-Motors U8 + 28x9,2 props

Hi R_Levebre, What is the AUW of your heli with 1kg payload and 50 minutes flightime ? What is the battery capacity ? My best flightime with a hexa copter for work (foldable, water resistant ) and 1 kg payload is 43' , with 21600mAh 4S batteries but the suggested batteries are 14400mAh 4S for 36'.

    Tiger-Motors U8 + 28x9,2 props

Hi everyone, Ferdinand , your datas , 6,1kg (4,2kg battery 1,9kgcopter) for 151' 30" seconds flight with 28" propellers , shows an lower efficiency compared to the one claim on Foxtech site for his 8108 motor (that I guess is very similar to T-motor U8 ) . If my maths are not wrong you...

    Dual Camera Gimbal

Hi , I really do not see where is the problem . More that gimal in photo really do not worth that price, I do not like his design with a bearing (I hope) at the opposite side of the pitch motor. Have you seen that apparently there is no antivibration system but just 4 rubber silent blocks ?

    Yuneec Typhoon H vibrations

Vibrations are little, what you see when you shut down motors is the gimbal motors that try to keep a position and vibrate , Usually this is because the camera is not balanced well or the gimbal motors are underpowered or bad tuned, i.e. a too much high P or PWM value.

BruGi_050_r217 is the project still alive ?

I had always prefer Brugi software , a free open source project to Alexmos products. I had very good result with older software versions and my custom build gimbal for Sony CX730 video camera. Now I'm working with a HK Quanum Midsize gimbal for Sony Nex 5-6 . I have modify it to hold a Sony A7...

    Dual Camera Gimbal

You can buy a cheap gimbal and modify it . What is the total weight of the cameras ?

KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

Claiming that a 85 gram motor with a 14" propeller gives 635 grams of thrust with only 42 watt and 15,1 gr/watt is claiming that miracles exist. Some customers want to believe in miracles of course . I beg your pardon but I believe in numbers and logic, the best result for a...

KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

Yes I did . They were very kind , they confirm the 15 gr/watt but did not gave a real explanation when I told them that an owner reported 10 gr/watt with the same propeller of their datasheet. BTW 10 gr/watt is a fair result for a 85 gram motor and a 14" prop, T-motor equivalent motor gave more...

KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

Voltage drop is not a problem if you work with Watts , when voltage drops , Ampere rise to keep the same thrust , watts remains the same. This is also the reason why data sheets consider 14,8 or 15 volts for 4S, an average voltage during a flight. Quality control if of course what makes the...

KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

Well with KDE2814XF-515 the claimed performance is very very far from reality , they claim 15 gr/W while an owner of that motor here in the forum got only 10 gr/watt with the same prop. So far I have a quite bad opinion about KDE datas. In fact claiming that a 85 grams motor with a 14" prop...

KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

You can calculate gr/watt by measuring amperes and tension while hovering without wind . Watt = Ampere * volts You can use a datalogger or telemetry if your radio/receiver or more simply this Watt meter from HK When you have Watts simply divide AUW by watt amount. Or you can choose to trust...

KDE Direct has added Multi-Rotor Heli motors to their lineup

Do not trust manufacturer data sheets . They are all very "optimistic" . Kde claims for the 2814-515 and 14" prop an incredible 15 gr/watt while in real world the real performance is 10 gr/watt as fltundra might confirm. Flight time is mostly related to propeller and batteries , motor , if it...
