    CineStar 6 + WKM + Maytech = WOW!

A short skate film with the Maytechs V2s 35 opto. A little bit "shaky" sometimes, so I've put some post-stab on several footages. (Very quick appearance of the hexa at 35'').

Very bad. Sorry to read that... Just for knowledge, what were the exact settings of the ESCs the first time you have those problems on the motors? I've made a very very short test this afternoon, and everything was OK. My motors = quadrocopters QC3328 (12poles)

Boris : did you try a "Fixed timing motor" instead of "Auto"? It was ok for me (20° was my choice). RPM should be OFF for multirotor. This parameter is only OK for helicopters, where the RPM of the main rotor need to be constant : when you're loading the rotor with any input with the TX, the ESC...

Finally I have the answer about "Switching Frequency": - Just before buying I've asked and they've said to me "The V2 ESCs have 8KHz and 16KHz, you can program it by TRX". - This morning, after asking to know how to do this, they answer me: "V2 ESCs switching frequency is not programmable". Not...

Boris, Same issue about powering the programming card. It needs two (or 3) times for each ESC to be powered on... I don't know why. - Because the protection is set to "No protection" on point 3/ I've choosen "Battery =Lipo" on point 2/ But I think this last choice on point 2/ is important only...

Opto 35A V2's are installed since yesterday on an AbuseMark powerboard on the CS6. I just need to configure them all this evening for a first flight test. Answers on saturday and sunday I think. Anyway, on the manual that was provided with the ESC, I can't see any switching from 8 to 16Khz to...

WKM in the wind - Your experiences - What could be improved

Things have been said about global weight, but not about the position in Z axis for the CoG. I would like to test this parameter, as there is perhaps some benefits to have a low CoG when there is a lot of wind/gusts. A bad thing with a lower CoG is that the gimbal is underslunged, and the wind...

I've asked them for that and I have a number to track. But since 2 days DHL was saying nothing else than "delivery info was received". Maytech has specified that because of the new year, delivery need one or two days more than usual. This morning, I can see "shipment picked up". It's moving ;)...

Of course, no problem : each esc 20$ + prog card 9,5$ + 30$ for postal service from china to france.

@GGoodrum : thx for this explanation ! @BorisS : inspired by this thread and by all that people here are sharing, I've ordered 6x ESC-35 opto (same choice than Boris). As they are V2 too, I asked Maytech about 8 to 16 Khz availability, and they have confirmed that those V2 have it. We will see !

Hi Ken, I just read your idea of changing from 8KHz to 16KHz. Is it the Frequency parameter for an ESC that you are talking about? The six Jeti MasterSpin I own for the cinestar6 have a lot of param. to play with, but on this one particular I thought it was always 8KHz that was the good value...

    DJI with Kontronik Kobe

I've made 8 flights this morning with Jeti MasterSpin 33A + DJI + CS6, and everything was just fine. No strange things like the other day. Only the last flight was with the maximum payload (GH2 + gimbal). The last time I saw the bad starting of one motor, was when I was trying big 14'' props...

PapaRomeo : most of the time it happens, the motor is just not starting and rare times : it turns slowly with this kind of horrible sound ;) On mine, the "ferrites" on the ESC wires are still present. I wonder if it can cause something... But I let them because of the servos on the gimbal, to...
