the I OSD MK2 manual says the AV *input* port power is 11-13v at 1 Amp. AV *output* port power is equivalent to battery power (voltage) so for 6s it's 22v. Not good for your TX :-(

Perfectly adequate, thanks. Thats a lot cleaner than I expected. I'd be tempted to dab a bit of black paint on them though to really complete it.

That's what I suspected. Before cutting them, it could be worth emailing panasonic support to see if they can provide any info on removal of the lugs, or clarify if they are bonded, screwed in or even part of the frame..

I would have done but the owner would not have been pleased ;-) They seem to be bonded very securely to the body skeleton under the covering. If I buy a GH4 I'll have a closer look at the options cut or pull, not sure which is going to be required.

Before you replace the board, make a VERY careful note of the orientation of the motor output cable (front of the Naza ). I hadn't looked closely enough. the lugs on my connector suggested it connects one way round, in fact it was the other (the lugs are not used to match up with the connector...

For commercial work, definitely WKM. Google CAA and A2 safety concerns. there may a restriction if concerns are proven. Thee are other options too. superX claims to RTH without GPS, Gemini has dual FC and GPS for redundancy, although I don't believe either are proven FC's in the volumes that...

i believe they used the Southern map for their Northern course last time I knew of someone doing the Northern course. that may have changed now.

I found it very beneficial to buy the Southern England Aeronautical Navigation chart (chart 8) and familiarise myself with it before the course. They supply one on day one of the course but having the chance to learn the chart before the course was of real benefit. Good luck. It's interesting...
