You can build a nice gps 450 size quad for about 300 dollars if you include the remote and 3s or 4s lipo and if you get all your parts from china off of aliexpress, gearbest and banggood.

I got these motors when they were 49 dollars and they seem real strong on my 450 frame. The only weird thing is they will only run fast enough on a 4s battery, at least the ones I got but if you use a 4s you should get 20 minutes of flight...
