Great idea on the camera.
I can tell you love AP so I'm only going to say this once lol, there's a LOT of extra weight on there that doesn't need to be there. Those retracts are nice but they look heavy, certainly heavier than carbon fiber tubes to land on. Do you do 3 axis AP or plan on it...
Sydney huh? I just got back from The Golden Coast, wow... We went to Brisbane and I am STILL very upset my multicopter was not able to travel with me. You guys is AUS have some of the best FPV opportunities I've ever seen in my life! Amazing there for sure and I got to surf, another plus. The...
I wouldn't go to a folding prop unless you had to for some reason, again it's about efficiency. You don't want any bend or flex in your props so you can get maximum output from them. If you can't go to a bigger 2 blade prop and you have the power then for sure 3 blades or 4 blades or whatever...
Yeah the DJI settings are fine if you are flying line-of-sight and you can see that flashing light but I don't want that anywhere in my view since I use an OSD regardless. IOSD is ok, I use Eagle Tree everything and they rule as far as I'm concerned.
I don't fly an F550 anymore, I've had...
There's nothing ridiculous about it. I don't use the DJI programming to force me to auto-land, that's my preference. I'd rather trash a battery pack then lose my copter any day of the week. Maybe you like it that way but it all comes down to personal preference and I prefer my OSD over...
Thanks! Good looking copter there, looks like you have retracts. I like that you use triple-bladed props however 2 blades are more efficient. You should really only go to more blades after you have run out of room to increase the 2 blades size. 3 blades are good for lifting but not as efficient...
Yes!
Excellent, I totally forgot about GenAce. Yes, they are fantastic and I have a few. I'll check them out. I don't think they are too expensive if I remember right and the ones I have have lasted a long, long time.
I don't use the DJI warnings because of several reasons. I dont want my...
I was using Zippy compacts on my F550 when I was getting 15 minutes of flight time. Try Turnigy nanotech, according to all the reviews I've seen they will last longer and perform much, much better. I think I'm going to pick up a few to test them out. Nobody really had much to say on here so.
Batteries of similar formulas work just about the same way. The higher the C rating, the lower the internal resistance of each cell generally and that generally means, or should mean, better materials and or build quality. The DJI settings have nothing to do with battery (current) draw but they...
What are the best Lipo batteries to use for heavier multirotors? I am on 5S and I'm using Zippy Compact 25C 3700mah in parallel which SHOULD be 7400mah but I'm only getting 4700mah before the pack hits 16.5V under load or about 3.3V per cell under load.
Questions to make it simple...

You may be talking about the WooKong, the Naza doesn't have a hole that I'm aware of. I covered just the sides, the long sides of the rectangle. I don't own or have I ever owned a WooKong controller.
No pictures but all you do is put black electrical tape on the side of the Naza so you cover the white parts. It worked for me and has ever since and it's been over a year and a hundred plus flights. Hope that helps.
Correct just make sure you do that with something other than the transmitter. Your trims should never be moved if you are flying a NAZA/WKM based system, you should have no throttle curves and no EXPO etc....can you do those things? Sure...but you'll pay for it with consequences.
Achieve 50%...
I don't know the WKM module well at all but unless you can setup a throttle curve inside of its programming I wouldn't mess with that. Setting up a throttle curve on your copter is a big NO NO. Can it be done? Sure, but with consequences. You'll never have centered sticks for example and there a...
Can you send me a link to what you are thinking? I see the Alexmos software everywhere...that controller from eBay did 2 axis ans 3 axis and used the Alexmos software, seems like a good deal but I don't know what I'm looking for exactly. I do like you can upgrade to 3 axis later which is in my...
